HSSC is known as the short form of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) was constituted on 28 January 1970 by the Government of Haryana as per Article 309 of the Constitution of India. The Commission conducts recruitment tests/interviews for Group 'C' services primarily for the state of Haryana. However, it may also conduct recruitment tests/interviews for Group 'B' and 'D' services if required by the State Government.
HSSC conducts all the exams for recruitment in Haryana state only. Its headquarter is at Bay 67-70, Sector-2 Panchkula, 134151, Haryana. Every year notification is released for many posts. The posts for which the exam is conducted are Junior Engineer, Village Secretary, Canal Patwari, Police Constable, Sub Inspector, Supervisor, Staff Nurse etc.
